CIMAHI, (PRLM) .- Cimahi City Government prepare draft regional formation "Cimahi City Heritage Tour". The effort was done as a way to protect buildings or objects of cultural conservation in Cimahi. In addition, its presence can be the potential for tourism.
Head of Culture and Tourism Section of the Office of Cooperatives, Industry, Trade, and Agriculture (Diskopindagtan) Cimahi City Wawan Darmawan said, with a number of heritage buildings (the legacy of the past) in Cimahi could be historical tourism potential. Unfortunately, until now, there is no data how many buildings are included in the heritage buildings.
"We together with NGOs Bandung Heritage has conducted a survey related to the presence of heritage buildings in Cimahi. However, the survey was still to be done back segregation. Which is including heritage and what is not, "he said.
Wawan said that one of the criteria that historic buildings are already fifty years old. In fact, today many buildings that have been fifty years old, but not all of them have historical value.
Cimahi City is a city that has heritage buildings are quite attractive and has the potential to be developed into one of the objects and tourist attractions of the city.
